Flavor notes: Lemon Blossom, Chestnut, Spinach
Between the sea and a sacred mountain lies the village of Laoshan. Here a single family produces L&F's Sea Mist Green tea. The tea is grown under cover in winter until there is no threat of frost. The coverings are then removed and the plants grow in full sun until the young tender leaves are plucked in early April. Sea Mist is produced from the first flush tippiest leaves, which are tightly rolled, but not compressed.
The tea strikes a beautiful balance of sweet and savory, with vegetal notes of steamed sweet spinach, nutty chestnut, and bright, floral notes of lemon blossom.
